The DISTAR CordSET Diamond Wire Radius Cutting Kit is a professional porcelain cutting system designed to make difficult radius cuts, rounded corners, and 90° inside corner cutouts easier, cleaner, and more repeatable.
Cutting tight radiuses in porcelain tile can be one of the most difficult parts of an installation. Traditional diamond blades can make the initial cut, but achieving a small, controlled radius without overcutting or cracking the tile requires precision. The DISTAR CordSET gives tile installers a purpose-built solution using an ultra-thin 0.5 mm diamond cutting wire guided by a hardened steel radius template.
The included template provides 3 mm, 6 mm, and 12 mm radius options, allowing installers to create consistent rounded corners for detailed porcelain fabrication and installation work.
CordSET is especially useful when creating flush plate openings, ventilation openings, inspection/access hatches, wall niches, and other rectangular or custom cutouts where clean inside corners are important.
